nice huh, then they have their scumbag friends from teex--ass who can do no wrong, goober was just expressing his pleasure at the GTO, oh well and to the new yorkers ---go and do something constructive --- like build some new buildings --
I forgot to ask, what's the mod? A 450hp GTO would have to be the ultimate IMO. BTW, the new Formula 1 soundtrack for the F50 is ready to ship at long last
It can make a big (bad) difference to engine life as well. I read somewhere that upping the boost on an F40 drastically reduces engine life. I had my RX-7 series 6 race car running much increased boost (circa 420hp). Blew the bugger up in no time; but not before it buggered the gearbox, the turbo's and the diff. Ahhhh, Targa memories
advertising, ever heard of the famous quote from henry ford, "i can spend anything i want on my personal racing so long as my name appears on the car" -----at a congressional hearing re tax evasion
I think you will find the ATO has some rules in relation to this; but hey, everything is ok until you get an audit.....
that was michelle leslie (ask kim beazley, he knows all) goober did time for trafficking........................and other things
hi dingo now that we are back from Bali, i was listening to a redgum CD, i've been to bali too and the follow up single i've been to bali nine anybody hear of the owner of the 360cs who got kicked out of the classic adelaide for doing 220 in a 60 zone, he was 30 something and outa control
Yes, boosting it to kingdom come could make 600BHP...like many F40 owners do... the extra boost needed to gain only 40-50 BHP is really very small, of course, engine life may be reduced... but not from ~100,000km to 10,000 km. Engine life is more to do with the way it's used.
When I drive the F40, (which is about once every 2 weeks on the wekends), I come home wth a smile a mile wide and the thought that "this car is worth every penny I paid for it"....................SO.....................forget the bank account, "who cares". This is a passion way beyond money.
GV, mentioned about increasing the boost on the F40, and I decided to leave it as it is. I love it as it is. If I want to go faster, I'll just take out the LM. There is an arguement for leaving a car as original as possible.
originality accounts for the best part of the cars' value, going outside the square could jeapodize the true value, and why mess with something that the manufacturer originally intended.
The F40 was designed to run on standard unleaded fuel, or so i was told way back when...hence, if the car were to always run on 98 then a minor change to the chip would allow a lot more power without any external mods. i call that still original...no more than changing the jets in a carby. to me, that's still keeping it original.
true, i'm referring to changing or modifying beyond what was originally intended like throwing a turbo on a 355! but i also see your point, infact try getting the same tyres for the early stuff, today's technology allows for a safer tyre (and there aint anything worse than a bent ferrari)
