Hi Gang, I am currently completing an F2002 1/12th scale model. http://www.f1design.us/All_modeling.html I would like to see some F1 jack stands that they store the cars on in the paddock. I felt sure you guys would have a picture or two laying on your hard disk? Thanks Steve
Are you looking for 1) The short jack stands that go under the center board? 2) the stands that attach to the front bulk-head and rear wing assembly allowing access to the full undertrey? 3) The stands that attach to the uprights and allow access to everything.?
Number 2 would be my first choice. On the model it cannot support it's own weight if option 3 is chosen and option 1 leaves the car to close to the ground for my display I think? Thanks for the clarification Steve
Here's the first few: http://www.motorsport.com/photos/f1/2005/jap/f1-2005-jap-tm-0257.jpg (Looks like Ferrari uses the attachment and the regular stands) http://www.motorsport.com/photos/f1/2005/jap/f1-2005-jap-tm-0258.jpg I'll see what else I can find. If you like I can also walk you through what the different brackets on the fixture are if you'd like to incorporate them as well.
Here is the Ferrari using the combination of #2 at the front and #3 at the rear: http://www.motorsport.com/photos/f1/2005/mal/f1-2005-mal-tm-0204.jpg BMW Williams: http://www.motorsport.com/photos/f1/2005/bah/f1-2005-bah-xp-0175.jpg http://www.motorsport.com/photos/f1/2005/bah/f1-2005-bah-xp-0208.jpg
