Thought I would throw up a couple shots of the carbon bodied ESmotorsports 550 LM, a replica of the Prodrive LM cars. Looks good other than the oversized wheel arches. I understand it drops a fair bit of eight from the OE 550. I cant coment on the quality of the body or work as I havent seen one. oh so sexy! I think the conversion costs like 150 grand, on top of the price of the car! Totally worth it!
Verdi has one for sale. Actually I think one of the gumball car is one of these as well. I saw it in flesh and was not very impressed. Arguably, it was dressed as General Lee with orange film covering most of the bodywork. I remember noticing that from what i could see of the engine bay from the vent / louvres on the bonnet, some of the screws were rusted. I have read about in it the UK magazine evo at some point in time. apparently the bigger weight saving was on the front and rear bumpers. The sports seat also remove a lot of weight. engine prep is quite limited. I toyed with the idea of getting my car done, but car is lowered too much and makes it undriveable on normal road (parking access, speed bumps...).
