Hey Carsten, I want to use that kind of wax on Rachel. I've never seen so much life jump out of a pen stroke. MY GOD. Cheers, Hank
Thank you again Hank, I really appreciate your nice and kind comments! Rachel would definately love to be "waxed"......and I would love to "wax" her with my pen Cheers mate Carsten
After having worked a little more reflections in the Enzo drawing since last update, I have now definately decided to do this drawing without a background! I think when finished, the drawing of the Enzo alone, will be enough to form a complete picture in it's own right! The reflections and your imagination will show you the surroundings! Update 13 tomorrow.......update 13 of a black car.....on a Friday?!?!?! Don't worry....I'm not superstitious!
You will perhaps note a certain new detail on one or more of these pics! It's not finished yet but I'm still working on it! This detail is not visible at all on the photo I'm working from, so once again I hope it will work?!?! Also I have begun to make some very delicate fine lines on the front fender, to make the reflection of the "blue" sky! Don´t you ever get tired of creating another masterpiece after another? Don´t wish you would once, only once, just **** it up
Hi Marnix, LOL.....never, and ....never!!!! Well ,.................actually things do not always turn out the way I planned, fortunately they did, all the way with this one so far! Otherwise there is only one thing to do......start all over!!!
Carsten, i was off yesterday, so i didn't have access to a computer, but seeing these updates is just incredible...! You have far exceeded what i thought would be possible for an all-black car... i think GTE is second-guessing - i don't think you're human...! If you don't mind, i'd like to post the photograph from which you're working... Folks, this is the photograph Carsten is using to render his picture... If you'll notice, every detail is so spot on, it's almost unbelievable... Look at the two pictures below... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My goodness that is incredible, i've been following this thread since Bugattiart's first post.......... Talent and class is permanant in this world, and it is blatantly visible in this thread that is for sure....... I'm in awe, congratulations.....
Thanks again Carbon, Thanks for posting the pic ! I hope people will also note all the diffrent colour nuances in the car on the photo.... very difficult to seperate all those nuances with only one and the same black pen on a piece of white paper! Hmmmmm......my name is "Clark Kent" and... I AM A HUMAN!! At least I don't want you to reveal my true identity.....you know, with my x-ray vision and the blue underwear and all that
Thanks so much Vasco, I am very grateful for your compliment! @All, I really am stunned by all these wonderful compliments.....I have no words....just a small happy tear in the corner of my eye Thank you so much, all of you!!! Your's Carsten Here is the latest photos of the drawing.....only small improvements, as I have been out most of the day yesterday! But even small things will do a lot of change in the picture now..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Very cool to see some pics of Carsten in his work-area too! And the drawing itself... well, what can I say... everything has already been said numerous times It's... amazing!
Thought it could be fun... and since we were asked to do it... then we just did it But I guess .... if it was me,... it isn't so easy to concentrate with a camera up your neck
wow - words just don't come close to describe the admiration I have for your work. As an architect who has messed around at the edge of "fine art", I'm really humbled at what I know is a combination of talent, care, patience and discipline to produce all these works you've shared w/ us. KEEP IT UP!
