I found a great local clock repairman to replace the "cloudy lense" on my 308 clock. Cost? how about $50 !!! 2 week turnaround time. He doesn't want...

I found a great local clock repairman to replace the "cloudy lense" on my 308 clock. Cost? how about $50 !!! 2 week turnaround time. He doesn't want any shipped to him though, due to possible damage through the mail. He said he could repair broken clocks as well but couldn't give an estimate without seeing the problem.
