Does the radiator which fits 308's, also fit a 308 GT4 ? Are the sizes/ mounting points the same?
Yes; they are both no. 107759, except it's from a VERY early GT4, which has different mounting points and has the no. 107497. but the sizes of the radiators are competely identical through all the ranges. Best Regards from Germany Martin
Martin, what do you mean "very early" gt4s. Mine is a US 1975, serial no. 10832. Do you know if the 308 gtb/gts rad is exactly the same as the one in mine? Thanks, Blaine.
o.k.; i cannot say definitely until which VIN the early design exists. But on the two pictures below you can see the difference regarding the mounting points. On the 308 GTB the design apparently did NOT exist, since my 1976 catalogue doesn't show different radiator versions. The image is taken from a 1975 Dino 208 GT4 catalogue and says 'early design up until VIN 11266 ' and ' later design from VIN 11268 onwards'. Therefore I would say that all GTB radiators are the same and you can use a later 308 GT4 radiator for a GTB and vice versa. But like mentioned in my first message; it's all just referring to the mounting points. Theoretically a radiator shop could swap the mounting points and both radiators would fit.
