My 355 is at Eugenio's Ferrari right now, he's doing a great job! Oh forgot to mention the hyperflows too....check out the pics....or go here for more....scroll down all the way now all I need is the kreissieg bypass valve, and new headers....still can't decide between Tubi, Metalcraft Industries, or NAPerformance! http://emelbon.tripod.com/eugeniosferrariservice.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
thanks for the compliments guys, the only problem is that the capristo exhaust doesn't seem to have a bung for the 3rd thermal couple, anyone know if this is normal on capristos? Tubi's all seem to have them.
Ed, looks awesome! What are your plans for smog test time? Remove it all and go back to stock and then replace it again? Or do you know a smog centre in Pasadena that is very shortsighted If you do, please PM me - I need to acquaint myself with such an establishment. Dave
Kreissieg does make a bypass valve, you can get it from Kevin at NAPerformance, but it runs around $2500...quite steep. My Kreissieg crossover pipe was around $2300, and the capristo was around $3000 and the hyperflows were around $2300 When the time comes to smog, I think I'll just try and see if it'll pass like that, if it doesn't, I'll seek out some alternatives. I actually don't know of any lenient places right now.
Steep? It makes the Grand Canyon look like a step. . BTW when will you have the videos up Ed? I'm getting real anxious to see them.
Eugenio has the Carbon GruppeM intake left to install, so when that's done, we'll have a chance to make a vid, I'll keep u guys posted! ed
here's the gruppeM... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
pardon my ignorance, what does the cross-over do in terms of sound? Also, which headers yield the highest hp?
That car is going to sound sweet!!!! Please a sound clip!!! I had my 355b set up with TUBI & TEST PIPES AND THE SOUND WAS A FREAK SHOW!!!
I think on most cars it gives a higher pitched smoother sound as the exhaust gasses communicate better evening out combustion. That equals more power usually. I hope you dynoed the car before so you can get an after and see how much power you gained. Please say you did.
