Synchrotest Carb Adapter

Does anyone know where I can find the 40 DFI/5 adapter shown in this photo? It's the lower part of the device that converts the synchronizer to fit a square flange and clear the choke plates.

The last time I used the synchronizer about 7 years ago,(I don't have the adapter), I had to remove the choke plates, at the risk of dropping screws into the carbs, in order to get the synchronizer to sit flush on the flange top. I don't ever ever ever want to do that again.

Sorry I can't help you find this adaptor so it looks like you may have to try a rubber hose or stethoscope.

Do you have a tool number? Is it AV506??

 

I have absolutely no information about the synchronizer adapter at all except the photo that I photographed out of my 365 GT 2+2 owner's manual. I found the name "Synchrotest" by searching carb synchronizers on google and finally finding the upper part at ThePartsBin.com. They don't list the lower part. I guess I'll just have to make an extension to raise the synchronizer above the open choke plates, which extend above the carb air horn inlet. It shouldn't be too difficult.
