    recently tried to take down my soft top and was unable to. it just kept beeping when i held down the button. question? my parking brake dash light would not go off, even though it was released. so i got tired of looking at the light on the dash so i discounected the light at the hand brake. with this said do you think that because the light on the dash is not lit the computer is recognizing it as not on?

    I'm not a Ferrari owner nor a speciallst in diagnostics, but I can almost guarentee you that that is what is causing your problem.

    Porsche convertibles have the same interlock - if the parking brake circuit is on, the top won't work.
