No it's in Switzerland but that's ok as I in the Netherlands; should be no problem to trailer it home.
OK, then it's probably a different car but in quite nice condition! Mine will never be in such condition.
Is the Thema 8.32 importable to the US? Is it difficult to get a Euro-spec vehicle EPA/DOT released? I've sold some North American-spec cars to the US but never a Euro-spec.
Not sure if it is on the list as "importable" yet. After 25 years, you only have to pay the duty to bring it in. As for the conversion, depending on where you start with (how close is the original to US regulations), yes, it can be a very expensive pain to convert a car.
Anyone know if the block design of the Thema 8.32 is close enough to the 3x8 to allow conversion to a flat plane crank ? (does a 308 crank fit in the 8.32 block ?) I presume different cams would also be required as it looks like the firing order is different. Ignition and fuel injection can always be "re-wired". Thanks Chuck
