That has to be a joke or a misprint.....that is one ugly replica and the builder should be put to rest along with the car.

This is an abortion. A replica would virtually copy all measurements to the fraction of an inch. This atrocity is not even close to the proportions of a real F50. The greatest insult was the comment about sounding like a real F50. Sure, to a deaf person maybe.

It might be worth $8000(eight thousand) just to drive it off a cliff.

    Time to complain to eBay!

P.S. In case you could not tell, I do not like this.........thing.

Did anyone notice the right rear wheel arch is completely different to the left one?? How they think they could get away with that I have no clue.

That's because the car has a 'drunk' and a 'sober' side.... sorry, let's get that again: That's because the car has a 'drunk' and 'very drunk' side.
Looks like a car from the Jetsons.

Let me put it this way ... this car would be hideous even if it were NOT pretending to be an F50. Since it is, the appropriate word is not in my vocabulary.

The '63 Corvette windshield is a nice authentic Ferrari F50 touch. ;)

$80K huh? Damn, I should have kept my 84 Fiero, slapped a horse on it and I could have got at least $20k for it.

    LOL

I spared myself the pain of looking at the pics, but I will say it never ceases to amaze me the amount of money people will spend on cars that just aren't worth it. From my profile you'll see that I own Volkswagens, and i bought a number of the VW tuning mags when I was learning about them. Now, the reason I own VWs is because I like German cars and VWs are affordable, so while I spend money to make them nice, I keep a sense of perspective about it. Heck, when I paid $3500 for my '88 GTI it was the most I had ever spent on a car, and I've sunk about that much more into it, but it was all maintenance, not silly stuff. That is maybe crazy from some people's POV, but I have a really nice car that is ready to go another 18 years. And in fact I have handed it down to my wife because I now have the Corrado. She wanted something German, stylish, with more power than her Tercel, and cold A/C (very important in Dubai!)

Oops, back to my point: in Performance VW you see cars that people have spent tens of thousands on ad at the end of the day they have a Volkswagen. Just like this guy. He's spent stupid money on a Fiero and now he wants to get his money back out of it. Even if it was nice (which I gather it isn't) it ain't worth Shiite. Fo rthe same money he spent he could have bought a Ferrari, but he nickel and dimed himself into an $80K Fiero. How sad is that?

Thanks for reading my incoherent rant. For Ferrari content, I'll just say that the highlight of my day was a ride in the old man's 550. The power, the POWER! Somehow it's even more impressive from the passenger seat :D

It looks like the batmobile from the '60's TV show, except ugly, and the wrong color, and did I mention....a POS.

HEE HEE I love stuff like this. I need humor in my life!

You only need 4 tailpipes and a FlowMaster muffler to get the "real Ferrari sound"!! Such a deal.

I wonder if the Ferrari logo police are looking at this one. It's more blatant than the original Miami Vice Testarossa replica and the legal folks went after it.

If it's really a 63 Vette windshield, that's likely the most valuable item on this car.

    If its a vette windshield I would think its a 53 not a 63.
