This is one of the "Must Do" things in life! :)
Another one is flying an open Bell Huey helicopter (and sit with your legs outside)!

Debs and I are keen to do the Thunder City thing (from Ysterplaat airport, if I remember correctly) - fly in a British Electric Lightning and in a Hawker Hunter :)

It's the eye of the camera.
Which camera do you have now?

I hear lots of the Canon 350D lately.....

    So what's a good advice? the 350D?
I am not really into camera's and to lazy to search it all out.
Easier to listen to experiences of my friends on board here....

It has to be an 'easy' camera.
Paid 650 euros for a Sony D71, 3 years ago. Not really satisfied, alltought lot of people on the board tell me making nice pics.
Think the Sony is a little 'oldfashion' and want something new.

The 350D is not a small pocketcamera. But the results are fantastic.
Buy a camera from a photocamera manufacturer (Nikon, Olympus, Canon, etc). NOT from a videocamera or printer manufacturer.

You will not regret the 350D.

Is the 350D easy to handle or do you have to have a photografic degree for it? ;)

You can use the "automatic functions" ... then it's easy! :)
But the you will not use it's fully potential IMO :)
Then you should go for a Konica Minolta Dimage X1 for an example :) If I remember correct it's an automatic cam. But I'm not positive....

Edit: Nope that konica was not the one I was thinking about...

    But maybe this one: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/konicaminoltaz5/
