I think it is a bad angle. The rear looks a little high which enhances the problem with the angle of the picture. Still, a little pricey but what a nice car!

The wheel is forward and the suspension wouldnt hang forward if too high in the back or off the ground. It has parallel struts in the rear so I think it would just drop down, not forward.....but I could be wrong. Knowing (or hearing) it has been munched I would pass anyway.

    It still looks strange.

That gap in the rear has always bothered me. Such a beautiful car! I think the gap pulls my attention off the lines :|

You guys are seeing things for sure. Look at the brick house in the background. The bricks converge to the center in an angle. It seems to me the picture is undersized with the resolution not ballanced.Pending on camera lens used could be distorted as well.

The rear tire/axle position is typical for a Boxer, the wrecked BBi should have a salvage title wonder how they got around that.

Boxers are easily lowered with new springs which lower unsprung weight as well.

I SEE BUBBLES in the decal

I am Sure you Know thats a decal over the original Speedo, and the odometer is in Kilometers..

    22,000 Kilos times 6.1 = 13420. miles.
    If thats the case

Shouldn't they have changed the entire guage if they were using a MPH speedo, instead of putting a sticker on it? How would the speeds be accurate if the odometer is still reading in kilometers?

Not Needed.....Instead of Calibrating the speedo, they have calibrated the decal......"REMEMBER ALL BOXERS IN THIS COUNTRY ARE GREY MARKET".
with that said, I believe some speedos were changed, but most were left in Kilo's.

Whether it is mph or miles it is easily calculable.
    Just Multiply by 6.

    ie...............80 KPH....times 6.....is 48MPH
    ..................600 kilometers.....is 360 miles

    Roughly.

My BB512i s/n 42213 speedo and odometer are both in kilometers. It is my understanding that some Boxers had the KPH speedometers replaced with MPH speedos from the UK as part of the USA conversion process, some had MPH decals put over the KPH speedos and some had the speedos re-airbrushed in MPH by companies like Palo Alto Speedometer. With a grey-market car you never know for sure unless you are the first and only owner who imported the car when new.
