Nice work. Maybe he will think twice about mugging someone and go get a job. I have had 4 broken noses, the worst pain I can remember. Ironically, I have been hit in the face in plenty of fights but all four noses were from being kicked in the face in soccer games. (I was a goalkeeper from age 5 through college.)

    Ouch.

One of the guys I work with had his nose broken 6 times in seven years. Hockey, baseball and moutian biking. I guess he wasn't good at sports.

    Gotta love sports!

Unless there's a dirty side to curling we don't know about:)

Glad you came out of it rather OK. Good luck on the surgery.

Been there done that. Expect 6 MONTHS for all swelling to go down. Your black eyes will go away in a week. Best tip: ICE IS KEY. Post op keep an ice pack on your face for 1st 3 days after surgery.

I applaud you for not allowing yourself to become a victim and turning the tables on your attacker.
Sounds like this is a common thing where you live. FWIW, concealed weopon permits are not that difficult to obtain.

Just got back. Boy oh boy am I dizzy. I live in a safe place but my bank is located in a "not safe place". I took today off and I'll sit out for the next two. Friday the packing comes out and in another week, I go back for the check up. So it looks like I lose a lot more than 800 bills afterall. Still no pain and not much blood at all so I guess I'm still doing well. The cast thing is freakin' anoying thoough. I told the Doctor {in front of the nurses} who were preforming the operation, that if I gave them $100 each could they do somthing about my calf's, I never liked the way they looked. < They all laughed, except the Doc. he said, "let's get you outta here alive, then we can talk."

Old F1 races here I come....

I carry an asp {retractable steel baton} in my Bimmer. Even if I had my own car this time, it wouldn't have helped. I was walking through a few back parking lots.
