Our F-430 is going on the dyno..anyone have predictions? Bone stock F-430 going on a Dynojet dyno. I'm predicting 420 WHP..anyone else? Image Unavailable, Please Login
sure will post up more tomorrow, http://www.***********.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11875 hope that works. alex
WOW! If you calculate a 15% drive train loss that would give 500hp at the crank. Impressive. Just to clairify again, this was a bone stock car right? No aftermarket exhaust like Tubi or Capristio, and full working cats right? Could you post the dyno graph?
and still rising until the limiter cuts in.... ECU flash to raise the limiter will see much more I'd imagine... at the expense of reliability of course. bit of a dip around 4500-5000, but good flat torque curve too.
I have felt that flat spot around 4500 and the spike right after it in at about 5000 right from the first time I drove the car. I have wondered if that is where the intake runners change length or cam timing or what. Once broken in, it seemed a little less noticeable or I am getting used to it. But I can always feel the power really kick in there. Also, it always felt to me like RPM's were left on the table they way it revs right to redline without ever feeling like it is dropping off or sucking for air. Dave
I'd like to see what a few light mods would do, perhaps intake and Tubi...? 'Tis a lot of power indeed.
Wow --- this is the first Ferrari I've ever seen dynoed (besides an F40) that didn't seem like it was overrated! With 15% drivetrain loss, that is 511 hp (435/.85)
