I want to run 20mm to 25mm WS on the rear 10mm WS on the front. I picked up three piece OZ racing super leggara forged rims 19in....Putting some hefty rubber as large as I can go on the rear....Has anybody had negative issues or handling problems....The dealer techs at Algar hate anything thats not bone stock and advise not to do it sighting changes to the oem setup wil result in negatives.......I think the wheel spacers I did on my 355 improved the track and look of the car huge 10mm front and rear.......THOUGHTS AND EXPERENCE ON THIS FOR THE 360 PLEASE!!! thanks ben

Ferrari offered an option in Europe for wider track on the 360s. I worked on a few of these cars and discovered that the only difference was spacers! I was looking for something exotic and found aluminum spacers. They were not 25mm though. That is thick and may present fender clearence issues.

Adding spacers to the front of any car changes your scrub radius and affects handling, depending on how "right" your scrub radius is now will determine if spacers help or hurt performance. I cant seem them helping though because ferrari probably has the suspension dialed in nicely.

Just a couple of quick comments:

    1. Changing the tire contact patch size and position will alter the car’s neutral handling. Well actually, most cars are designed and set-up for moderate understeer as the automotive manufacturers’ legal departments demand. The impact of your change might be a “I don’t care because I only care about how the car looks,” or it could be a “I just screwed-up the handling of my Ferrari.”

    2. Many of the open track and racing organizations with which I’ve been associated ban wheel spacers because they have been the #1 contributing factor of wheel bolt failure on race tracks. This was always controversial with guys running Shelby Cobras (real and replica) as many used spacers.

I'd suggest not trying to out engineer Ferrari's engineers.
