Did Top Gear test the Veryon yet ? Man I wanna see this.
Yep. It is on the web at bittorrent websites. They did a pretty extensive segment on the car (it was one of their famous races they do). If you are looking to see what laptime was around their track they didn't do that, not too sure why. I'd assume they'll show that in a future episode.
the show is not that fantastic. The car, obviously is. Never seen clarkson so excited, but the filming isn't as great as I expected it to be ... oh well.
they didnt take it around the track because they didnt have a production car at the studio where top gear is filmed. the race was from italy to London. The studio is in Surrey (a county in England) There was a prototype Veyron at the studio but, as it was only a prototype there wouldnt have been much point in putting it on the track, not if you wanted a fair and honest Production Veyron test result.
Great episode. Just watched it today. The running gag about Hammy's teeth IS funny. Even the 911 bit was good, if a bit short. Oh yeah, and it was fun to see Mansell kick D. Hill's and Webber's a$$es.
It was a very good show, interesting TG got its hands on one, it took them forvever to get a Enzo, and to get a car that hasnt really come out and put it threw threw that "race" is impressive. Clarkson couldnt keep raving about it, mentioned it cost VW 5 million a piece to make, and they are only doing it as an engineering project. Clarkson compared its existance to the concord and other ground breaking machines. As well as saying he is was a hollow victory because he got out of the car knowning he will never feel that kind of power again as well as there will never be anything like it ever again.

Clarkson was raving about the car and threw out this little factoid. If you are racing an F1 you can spot him to 120 mph and then hit the accelerator and you will beat him to 200 mph...that is F*cking sick
