Saw Snoop Dog on the news the other night saying how Tookie is his generations Martin Luther King. Funny I don't remember King blowing off peoples head with a shot gun. What a disservice out of touch morons like him bring to their community.

Williams' anti-gang message is heeded by "gang bangers" because he "has walked the walk," said Dogg, who referred to Williams as the "Martin Luther King" of youth of color in tough Los Angeles neighborhoods.

"He is reaching out to people," Dogg said. "His whole belief is strong enough to cause an uprising, which is why we stand behind him."

Headline in Los Angeles Times "Tookie Williams Is Executed"

Now I know the the liberal rag has to sell itself, but I disagree with the using of his name in the headline. In fact I'm at odds with all of the publicity this guy received during this whole mess. It seems to me that as a society we gave way too much publicity to a murderer that just received his due. I can't help but believe that some of those on dealth row are thinking, "at least when I go, if I go, I'll go out with some style/notoriety and be splashed all over the front pages of newspapers." If the liberal press had it their way most of these murderers would be on Larry King Live during "Murder Week Countdown".

The headline should have read something like "Murderer of 4 Gets Executed". The article goes on and on about his prominent supporters, the murderers life, and also gives a cronological overview of his life. It's not until half way through the article that one of the victims is mentioned. The last column finally mentions all of the victims names.

If there is any deterent value in capital punishment, the word has to get out, but, we should do it in a way that minimizes the publicity or the glamorizing of the murderer.

I swear that the news can just play a re-run of the last execution at the prison. The same left-whako Berkeley rent-a-mob were in front of the gates playing their bongos that you see at all of these events. Maybe if some of these people had jobs and paid taxes, they would not be there with their pro-thug chanting.

Hey. Tookie is dead. most people thought about it yesterday, due to the barage of coverage, and have gone on with their business. These idiots will let it define them until the next execution! If CA had the same execution rate as Texas, some "capitalist pig" would have already built a motel outside of the prison, served Tofu and Chai tea and made a nice little business off of them!

LMAO @ Pacifists who foam at the mouth with anger and frustration!
