Was this a rare color combination while they were in production? I am seeing all black/tan or yellow/black. I have seen one Spyder with black interior but red carpets.

Is this going to be something that I wll not be able to find?

I'm only interested in the GTB not the Spyder.

Just remember, buying a used Ferrari can take awhile. Even when you're ready to spend the money for one, it can still take a few months to find the one you want.

    GOOD LUCK!!!

Black/black is not easy to find, and I have only seen a few in the past few years. Just be patient, and it will find you!

Because all the lemmings wanted the obligatory, ubiquitous, and quite boring, red/tan...

It is however black/tan with dark tint. There is another black/tan in Ferrariads right now. I would suggest not getting too hung up on interior color, if you find a really good car with the wrong interior color, go with it rather than a not so good car in the exact combo you desire.

Black cars are gorgeous, however I suspect it would be hard to find a black/black in Atlanta -- black cars are literally extremely HOT. Park one out in the sun for awhile with the windows closed. Touch the paint.. sizzle, ouch! Open the door, whoa.

If you get one, make sure you keep up with paint and leather care. Black leather will dry out quicker than the lighter colours.

    Not many were ordered because

    (A) The resale value isn't as good as black/tan

    (B) It's a high maintenance color. Especially with the dash problems the F355 has. Not only do you have to worry about keeping the exterior clean but you have to worry about the interior anytime you leave it out in the sun. Moreso then a tan car.

Thanks for the feedback so far. All of my other cars are black and black and I'd like to stay in that combo. I did find a spyder that was triple black with red interior, no thanks. :)

Black on tan is a consideration with the dark tinted windows, I've just never been a fan of tan interior particularly the carmel Ferrari version. How about a green interior? Just kidding. :)

I have a black/black F360 in california, and it is fine in the sun. The A/C does an adequate job of cooling the cabin on all but the hottest days.

Exactly what I'm looking for. Does anyone know how rare this combo is? I don't want to settle.

To some - personally I think its boring, and not practical in most climates. However absolutley fabulous to show the car in the Family Room or the special garage with white ermine carpet or terrazzo marble ...

No accounting for taste of course. red and tan only sells in the US, most Euros wont buy one and black on black is for diplomatic cars and Secret Service SUVs.
