    looks great!!!
the NSX-R is awesome and he's driving the crap outta the 430!!!
But notice how boring it is to watch him NOT (stick/manual) shifting in the 430 vs the NSX-R :(, especially no (stick/manual) downshifting! But he slides it around the tight corners beautifully!!!

    I'd still take the NSX-R!!
...oh and notice almost at the end in Japanese the writing talks about the V-10 NSX!!!!

    someone needs to translate!!!

    agh, im lazy...maybe tommorrow :)

I think its cool how the track is so narrow and right up against the woods that its more like a rally race, and there's NO room for error!!

I just watched the "Top Gear" video and the 360 CS was about 3/10s quicker than the 430. They did say that it was because of the Bridgestone's. The CS had Pirelli's on.

The guy that had been burned is the guy in the video F355 challenge that exploded when the Porsche hit it and had the helmet stuck and melted to his head.

i think the guy behind the F430 was very very nervous. he was even sweating on his forehead when he got out of the car after its run. there was too much of steering movements, compared to the NSX. at least we know why sato always crashes now :D

Racing in a narrow tree-lined track like that with the CST off in a megabuck car that isn't his, can you blame him?

I noticed that too - looked very skittery compared to the NSX. Of course, that might just be familiarity. He's probably been driving NSX's for 14 years!

Whoa that was wicked when he drifted around the curve in the F430. That thing hugs the road very nicely.

He definitely didn't look comfortable behind the F-car. He was using the brake quite often where on the NSX he rarely used it and he seemed VERY proficient when driving the Honda.

Not taking anything away from the NSX (great car), it seems that everytime the there is a Japanese show with the NSX it either comes out on top or barely gets beaten in handling or acceleration. Watching those videos makes it seem like nothing can touch the NSX.

thats cause unlike most americans, the japs actually know how to drive!!!...minus sato :D.......theres more than 1/4mile times and torque to driving, and a good driver doesnt need torque because they can carry monentum. Most americans couldnt survive without torgue, hence the popularity of Viper and Vettes :(

The video was rather boring. Nice to see the Japanese improve on technology that started in 1991. They are really on top of the improvement curve. How many Honda Accords have engineers tuned since 1991 to make their car so great.

The NSX is old. In 1991 it was something. Today. it's a Honda Accord with an aluminum body.

    Mario

P.S. It is very obvious the driver has been on that circuit many times in the Honda. Watch his throttle input on the Ferrari and the constant flooring the throttle on the brakes and then back to flooring the throttle. This tells the story that he is not a smooth driver familiar with the car and the course.
