My F355 1995 dont have the heat shield protectors on the gear box to protect the axle shaft. Do you know if it is normal and where I could get a pair of used ? nico
The heat shields are there to protect the axle boots. Ferrari issued a recall to retrofit the shields. They were standard equipment on later models. You will need the two brackets which hold the shields. I imagine the parts are still available from Ferrari.
That was the story I already heard and my axle boots have been damaged because of this heat shield missing. I will buy a pair to fix the problem.. I m looking for this recal campain pages that would be usefull to control if my car have other potential problems. thanks nico
