Hi and Happy Christmas to all. I have a noise from my cluch on a 2003 360 6speed with 8000 miles. About 10 - 15% of the time when taking off from a stand still I get a short squeel from the clutch. It only happens on occasion and when the car is moving just before the clutch is fully engaged. My first thought was throw out bearing but I can't simulate the noise with the car stationary or by putting pressure on the bearing/clutch when stationary or moving. Although he clutch will not slip even under hard acceleration in 5th or 6th could this noise be the first sign that it is getting to a worn out point? Any advice would be well received. Russ
I have the same issue (once in a while) and I took it to ferrari of silicon valley and the service manager told me that it was "normal" and not the throw out bearing.....I hugged him and left. He explained what it was and I was so happy that it was not the TO bearing I forgot what it was. -A
