That's an OLD video of the Koenig Bi-Turbo F50. There is only 1 in the world and it was built by Koenig Specials in Munich, Germany. It has a little over 800 RWHP, 0-62 mph time of 3.0 seconds flat, and a top speed of just over 230 mph. That thing is a freaking monster. It also has an interesting switch which allows one to change the power output level from 600, 700, and 800 RWHP. LEAVE IT @ 800!! lol..

THe owner of that car is an Englishman--don't know his name but Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear drove that car on the Autobahn and said that it was the fastest thing he had ever driven.. of course, the Bugatti Veyron now is probably faster.

Also, interestingly, John Carmack, the father of the PC game DOOM bought an F50 and tried to boost it (twin-turbo). The work was done here in the US and the car was literally torn to shiet. That car, as far as I've heard, was done for. John Carmack ended up parting it out (lol.. like a ricer), and I'm not sure whether he sold it or not. But yeah, the Koenig F50 is a mothafockin beast!

its rumored that if you put a special modification on the intakes that you can get 0-60 in 2.5!! honestly i think that might not be true.

2 things. The car is now in the US. Its no longer owned by the Englishman

Second thing, Carmack did not part his car out. Its on ebay right now. Its been completely "restored" and got very low miles. They're asking too much though (700k off the top of my head)

I'm pretty sure that most cars with that much power 0-60 is mainly traction limited.

John Carmacks car was at one point wrecked, I don’t know the extent of damage but I do know it was a hit and run. The F50 was in the parking lot at there old Mesquite TX office and was hit by an unknown person. Also I don’t see how it could be low miles as it was basically a daily driver for John.

Last time I saw Carmack's car (last year at Norwood's being "de-turboed") it had 7500 miles, low miles for a normal car but definitely on the high side for an F50...

That F50 is not the Koenig F50, because it is still here in Europe. As you can see, the one in your post is a Spider, and the real Koenig is a hardtop. I saw some pictures from a Ferrari event not to long ago and the Koenig F50 was there, so it's still over here. The Koenig F50 doesn't have shield on the bonnet either, the one in post #42 does.

    Wrong. It is

First off, the F50 can be either hard top or spider. The hardtop is removable.

Secondly, it does have the shield on the bonnet. Its just covered up in all the magazine shoots of it because Ferrari weren't too happy when Koenig modified it and the only way not to get into legal trouble was to cover the logos when it was being tested in magazines.

The Koenig F50 was for sale at Duncan Hamilton a few months ago and sold within a few weeks. A few weeks after it was taken off, pictures showed up online of it in the US. Its the same car.

No Seriously, Im pretty sure it's not the same. Look at the spoiler. The Koenig has a modified spoiler with a black flap on it. The one in Oregon doesn't have that. And how did it end up at a British Ferrari meet not too long ago? I will try and see if I can find those pics... There's something weird going on :) - But I am starting to believe that you might be right.

Apart from that, is all F50's both hard top and spiders?

The F50's hardtop is removable to make it a barchetta (pure convertible, no roof). It also has a soft top but it looks rather ugly with it on and is probably a P.I.T.A to get on

I didn't mean to sound like ******, but i'm almost certain that the car thats now over here is the Koenig F50. You also show it with a black flap on the spoiler yet its not in any of the other pics. Maybe it got changed after that. I have the top gear article from when they tested the car and its not black.

Btw, the badges were covered up with red duct (or duck. whatever) tape. If you look at the top gear review they tell you in the text of the article. You can also clearly see it.

If you watch the video again of the suspected Koenig F50 ride, you can see the driver fiddle with something just behind the shifter at the 5:16 mark. It's hard to tell what it is as his hand is covering it, but that seems to be the same location where the "Power Screw" control knob would be.

Wow. That's a lot of power for a car without ABS braking. I hope it carries an anchor or something to jettison out the back in case of an emergency stop.
