    Thought I'd pick some brains.
Just decided on a 03 360 coupe and was just checking with any local owners about insurance.I'm in Charlotte
Having had a company car for the last 25 years auto insurance has not been anything to concern me.
Has anyone had good or bad experiences, high or low quotes with any particular carrier, The reason I ask is being a bike owner (MV Augusta and Ducati) North Carolina insurance rates, if you can get a quote are about the highest in the US.
I did check the search but found no info.
    By the way great site

I don't know about a 360, but my father has his Porsche covered through Hagerty and the rates aren't that bad. If that would be any help to you, let me know and I'll get some numbers. We need to ride sometime, two wheeled italian stallions are better than the four wheeled ones anyways;)

Russell, best of luck to you on finding the right 360. The search can be half the fun! I live in Huntersville, NC, and I had my 328 covered with Chubb for 3 years. The had an "agreed value" policy that offers unlimited miles. Full coverage was around $900-$1000/year for me. I'm now driving a 355B, and the premiums are only slightly higher (still with Chubb). My agent is a lady named Erika Geeslen with Ellington & Associates (out of Raleigh). Their office number is 800-616-5510, and I'm sure they'd be happy to offer a quote. I was originally referred to them by Steve Barney at Sport Auto. For a few months, I had both the 328 and 355 on the same policy, and it's amazing how it only costs a few hunded more $ per year to add the 2nd car. Multi-car discounts are great!

Now for the CAFE plug... we have an informal Ferrari enthusiasts club in Charlotte called CAFE (Charlotte Area Ferrari Enthusiasts). Kevin Fielden heads up our club, and we'd love to add you to our email distribution list if you're not already on it. We don't pay dues... we just get together for good meals, fun drives, and the occasional special event. It's a great way to get the car out and share the Ferrari passion with other owners and/or enthusiasts in the Charlotte area. I have made some great new friends through the club; you won't find a better bunch of guys/gals. Shoot me a PM or email, and I'll send you Kevin's contact info.

Russell, you might want to contact Classic Auto Insurance in Indianapolis. They have all of my cars and are very reasonable. They have several programs and you just pick what you want. The contact person there is Drew,PM me and I will give you their telephone number-just don't have it here.

    Not monetary ones, at least!

On the insurance question, I use State Farm. My 348 is just listed as a pleasure vehicle and I think my annual policy is something like $800. Of course a 348 isn't in the same league as a 360, but it might be worth checking with my agent, John Phillips in Winston Salem. Super nice guy - and very much a "customer advocate" when it comes time to make a claim.

    Best,
    Daniel

My 91 TR is with Geico with the same limits as my other cars. Only cost me $400/yr to add it to the other two cars. Don't know if that helps or not.

All right now, Mr 348! Don't make me take back the nice things I said about you under General Discussions.

Like Daniel, I also have State Farm and with multicar & "safe driver" discounts and having my homeowner's policy there, I pay about $450/year for my 348.

    Thanks to everyone who replied,
I am sure I can sort something out on Monday and with a bit of luck have the car delivered mid week.
Can't believe I am like a 5 year old the day before Christmas, but then how many people get to drive a Ferrari that they own?
Hope to meet some of the local owners in the near future.
