    I agree with both statements.

It's kinda hard to see a Ferrari underneath all that GM.

That rivals the F50 replica in this previous thread. The '63 Corvette windshield is so close to the F50 windshield. As someone else said, looks like it is from a boat. And I almost forgot to mention the Lambo style doors.

Its not that bad for a camero. I dont know why they need to say its a ferrari. They should just say its a special addition camero. proabably would get more bids.

As a ferrari kit. its horrible.

    Thats not a '63 Corvette windshield. It is a replica of a '63 based on a '61.

Just a quick question, in one of the interior shots the speedo is visible and the upper limit is 110 mph!! i thought the camaro would have been capable of exceeding this speed with ease.

What more do you want than a Ferrari that can be serviced at a Chevy Dealer!! We wouldn't have a thread talking about $16000 parts for a 355 or $600 oil changes.

The first picture of the red replica is what this project aspires to be! Sad.

I concur. As a Camaro and Ferrari owner, I find that very disturbing.

    Somebody must pay.

I'm not sure what's more disturbing... The "thing" itself. OR The spare that bid $3k.

Excuse me, I have to go flush my eyes out after looking at that.

    1. It's ugly.

    2. At least the ricers dodn't rebadge their Hondas, Toyotas, etc. as something else when they stick all the extra body panels on, they are proud of their cars. If you're going to put all of those panels on, why is it necessary to put Ferrari badges on it?

    3. It's ugly

    4. Its a standard Camaro with 100k miles (160K-km for non-US readers). The mechanicals are probobly dead and they weren't impressive when new.

    5. It's ugly

    6. Why bother?

    7. It's ugly

    8. Do you realize that someone designed this kit and spent money making the molds? Do you realize that the seller probobly paid a decent amount of money for this.

    9. It's ugly

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy New Year, Happy generic/misc. holiday,

Cripes, who would buy this sort of automotive abortion?

Don't start a kit car unless you've got the balls and/or the bucks to complete it. And if you don't, then don't bother trying to pawn off your half-baked pile of crap on the rest of the world.

That's the part I don't understand: What is this trying to be? A F40, a F50, a TR, a Koenig Competition? It is hard to recognize what it is trying to replicate.

Furthermore if you're going to make this kit with the admittedly very cool Koenig Competition side intakes, why then not go all the way and make openings for real Ferrari front and tail lights? Why stick with that Camero oval crap? Either you do a replica or you don't. But don't do this halfway job.

Somehow I have the feeling that whoever designed the kit just was inspired by Ferrari designs, but didn't intend to replicate one and now the seller calls it a Ferrari to sell it.

At this stage in its life, that Camaro is a prime candidate for a SCCA racer or a drag car...from the looks of it, it still has the Z28 motor in it...

What I want to know is who would have the ballz to drive that thing around after it is done...

It's just a hobby, for the fun of it, sense of accomplishment, challenge. There are those who just like to build cars (though not everyone is or can be good at it), and those who buy turnkey, nothing wrong with either.

The hard point to see IMO is why call and label a car something it is'nt, either a car is a Ferrari ( or other brand for that matter) or is'nt, period, unfortunatly the bogus badging of cars like this, good or not will continue.

IMO and sure others, cars don't need emblems (ok for appliances and such), but any car should stand on its own, it's either cool or is'nt

Poor Camaro, have to wonder if the bidders think it is the finished car in the top pic rather than in pieces?
