What an amazing weekend. Yesterday (12-24) picked up my 2006 F430 F1 (blk/blk/dk grey stiching), power daytonas, shields, yellow calipers and tach, carbon fiber dash inserts, leather headliner and rear shelf. And today (12-25) my second child arrived at 6am--a healthy boy 7lb2oz, 19.5 inches. I am so excited to have a son. Looks like I won't be taking any road trips for a while. First, congradulations on your healthy boy. What a great time to have a child. Second, congrats on your beautiful car and enjoy it in good health.
Congrats on the addition to the family !! Children when born healthy are truely lifes greatest gift. Hope he brings you all the joy in the world !! Oh yeah, nice car.
Congratulations! Great news on the boy. Cars and other possessions pale in comparison to the miracle of your own children Just a thought from someone with kids very close to Christmas - think about celebrating their 1/2 birthdays in June. It really sucks for a kid to have a birthday and Christmas coincide.
We were discussing that very issue about an hour ago. The alternative is to have a party in mid-December for classmates and friends with a family party on Christmas day. I think the key is to separate out the birthday gift from the Christmas gift and to remind family members to do the same.
Congrats on son and car. Given that they share the same birthday, you better keep it in good condition for when he is old enough.....
Hey congratulations on both. You know he will say the Ferrari was meant for him as soon as he gets his license right?
Double Congratz...!!! I had it the other way around, my being girl first, then my355 a few months after. In any case, you will love them both just as much
Morgie, congrats, glad to see you have your priorities right(ferrari then the kids!). Thing is with kids, you can't respray the front end, the depreciation lasts forever, the maintainance is very high unless you can do all your own work, and later on there will be long periods where they don't run like you want them to.!!! Really, your car is gorgous but the kids will bring lasting pleasure and growth and wonder for the rest of your life.
You have the best of both worlds, family and Ferrari. Enjoy them both. Join us for a Nor Cal drive sometime.
