I believe it was just taken at an F40 meet that was organized soon after the car was built. I could be wrong. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
the first pic looks like it is Japan.. although it could be in Italy as well.. so I'm not really sure.. but definitely not in the US.. lol..
The pics are not fake. Look at the position of the license plates. And they were not taken in the US, or Japan, they were taken in Europe
If anyone wants a larger version of the original photo, I've uploaded it here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/Peloton25/Desktop%20Wallpapers/rainf40s.jpg It's definitely a real photo, but I don't recall the event it was sourced from. If I can figure it out I will add another post. >8^) ER
All pics are real! Back in the late `80th Ferrari invited ALL F40 owners from all around the world to celebrate a F40 party. Pis were taken in and around Maranello, Pista di Fiorano and Monza race track. Best Wolfgang
You mean this one ? Can't be Japan - look which site of road they are driving !!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, not Monza. The meeting was the F40 meeting held by the factory in Fiorano and in and around MUGELLO (Tuscany, near Florence). The date was 11-14 June 1992. Attached is the list of F40s present. 68 cars in total. 67 cars in red and one in black. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Marcel, thanks for the attached list. I`m wondering how many F40`s are still with their original owners?
Well, it's almost 14 years since then! Not too many still with the original owner, I guess. Happy New Year to you and yours. Marcel Massini
