My 84 308 QV had a single ITALMEC relay (0027700) that is used for the turn signals/hazard flashers. My relay is intermittant on the turn signals, and rather inoperative for the hazards. I'd like to replace it with a ITALMEC relay, as somehow during my car's lifespan someone stuck in a 'replacement' relay that's not an ITALMEC.

Dennis McCann's site has what appears to be a relay that will work, but he wants $120+ for one. Another online Ferrari parts counter wants $90 for a OEM relay, and $29 for something aftermarket (what I've got now, that doesn't work right). Since I replaced all of the OTHER relays I have with OEM Bosch relays for much less money per relay, does anyone have a source for ITALMEC relays that doesn't break the bank?

How can I verify if these cross-reference each other?

    Thanks, BTW.

And I replaced the flasher unit (ITALMEC 00.277.00) with a standard US/DOT 3 Terminal Tridon/Stant EP36 (3 Turn/6 Hazard). It works great! I can now tell when ANY of the turn bulbs burns out or fails. The stock Ferrari flasher would only indicate a failure when most of the bulbs were burnt out! All the bulbs I used are standard off-the-shelf items in your everyday auto parts super store. (execpt the E-Code H4 headlights)

The Tridon/Stant EP36 was in my car (85qv), when I bought it a few months ago. I just checked Autozone and they carry them for $9.95.

Do your hazards work fully with this relay, or just the turn signals? Just wondering if I have a dirty switch, as well.

    Thanks for all responses!

Just wanted to let everyone know the EP36 part is still available. I purchased mine @ Advance Auto for $12.99.

Is this what is referred to as a "three terminal flasher relay"?
