Not trying to be a wise-ass, but why not? It's his money and his cars.

Another big thumbs up on the 360 rims on your grigio metallizato car. They make a great pair, similar but both with its own personality. :)

Congrats & Happy New Year! I like the metallic grey colour against the tan interior. It looks very modern with the 360 wheels as well. Me, I get hot sunny & wet days only. No snow.

Dang ! Nice fotos, I cant think of a better Home improvement project than parking a pair of TR's in front of it. talk about curb appeal !
Now someone know a good taxman so he can make a deduction on his latest home improvment?

Have a fun and safe New year.

Well, I have to say the 360 rims look too modern for the Testarossa bodystyle, but hey, that's just me and my humble opinion.

I wish I was your neighbor. I would never leave the house!

For one thing, look at the wheels on the black one. It is the older design which for one thing is not very conducive to after market wheels. Then you get the suspension upgrade as well w/ the newer style. Try maintaining a black car once and you'll know another reason.

I have a black car - its a challenge, but I don't mind it. Curious to know that since the other 'new' car is dark in color, won't this also show dirt/scratches?

Also, if the goal was to have the option of changing to aftermarket rims, won't F-40 wheels work? Doesn't Ronal make Spline rims as well?

Thank You Everyone for the positive comments. To answer some questions...I sold the black TR because it was simply time to move on. I think that nothing looks meaner than a black TR...it's the darth vader of cars.

M.James...this new car in Grigio isn't near as dark as black. The lighting in the pics isn't the greatest. But in sunlight the grigio car looks just stunning, it glows. As for wheels yes I suppose F-40 wheels could go on an early TR but still your choices for any type of aftermarket wheel are extremely limited. I had explored most of the options for single lug wheels and the F-40 style or the ones by Excelzior wheels are the best looking. I enjoyed working on the black TR and learned a lot from it. And I have the satisfaction knowing that it's going to a very good home. I was just ready for a change.

I will try and post some more pics soon for all those who are interested. I have a lot of work to do on the grigio car yet. Probably gonna yank out the motor for a full detail job and all. But at least all services are current, and the car has a new clutch. So I don't have to do any extensive mechanical work to the car for some time. There are a couple of small dings on the rear deck lid I have to get removed. There is a scratch on the right front corner, and a bad paint chip on the driver's door that I must also get fixed up. Other than this...the car has the absolute nicest factory paint job I've ever seen. And I think the Modena wheels really modernize the car. I do have the stock wheels too. I'm looking forward to working on this TR and whipper her into shape by the summer.

More praise to you for following your passion! If you think it about, it says much more for an "average" guy like yourself to own a Ferrari than some fat cat who could buy them by the dozen. When you stretch and make allowances to live your dream, it shows how much it really means to you.

That really is a stunning combination, the warmth of the interior is glowing from within the elegant the Amani suit exterior. Much more interesting and tasteful than the yawn red/tan (no offense to red/tan owners of course :))

"My nero black metallic TR is sold and the new owner is picking it up soon."

Well Jeff the Vader is now a resident of NY. Trip was smooth and 1100 miles in 17 hours was well worth being able to acquire such a great car from you. I most want to thank you, for your honesty, passion and beyond the call of duty involvement with making my dream of "owning" a Ferrari not only possible, but also a positive and pleasuable experience. Just like you, I too am a blue collar guy that just wanted to drive the best. Two things to share............The first person behind the wheel of the TR in NY will be a 13 year old from across the road! Yeah.....he's small and thin enough to be able to get in it and back it out of the trailer (engine NOT running I might add, LOL). He's thrilled, which is great! And secondly........I have located 2 other TR's and a 360 within 1/2 mile of my residence..........And the locality that I live in has more double wides than houses...not the affluence of Beverly Hills and The Hamptons by any stretch of the imagination! More cows, pick up trucks and John Deere implements than anything. And I thought I would be so "unique" being a Ferrari owner.........Hell the Sunset Strip on a Friday night in July has less Enzo inspired traffic. Anyway......thanks and I'm serious about going to Goodwood 2007............airfare and event tickets my treat, but you pay for the hotels! Kerry

Congrats on the 2 TR's, love the colors, good to see them turning over the miles as apposed to being locked away, Ferrari's are like paintings by great italian masters, to be driven & viewed by all.
    Kick ass in 06

First off Thank You All for your priase of my TR...I like it too. I was hoping for a sunny day here in Mich. but as usual we have the dull gray overcast that goes on for weeks at a stretch. But I took a few more pics anyway. I hope they turn out. In the sun light the car looks very classy.....but I guess I'll have to wait till May for sunshine again. Please bear in mind that the car is not detailed or anything....fresh off the trailer with a layer of film and dust. The interior is a bit grungy too. But what the heck....
