Well,their chance of precipitation is just a little bit off LOL.

I Hope tomorrow is better & the car arrives safely & on-time.

 

Vik "Congrats and good luck" will try to make it.

 

Well unfortunately Vik just got word that the Gallardo is still in transit and approx. 1000 miles away. Hence the gathering tomorrow will need to be postponed until Monday (Time TBD) when the G is scheduled to arrive.

Vik will have additional details tomorrow at which time I will follow up with all of you.

Hope you all have a Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing you on Monday (if you can make it that is).

 

Freaking lame...got me all excited for nothing.

I remember when there were two Gallardo’s at MMC a few years ago around the time when the NYAS was taking place before they even came which were to be used for the taping of this short film. They were both being detailed for the film. Then later that day someone from Lambo drove by the NYAS and no one on the street really noticed the black at the stop light and then drive by.

Unless you're a subscribed member of RF.com, you're going to be downloading hella slow, at dial-up speeds. Let me know if that doesn't work. I have the video, and I was planning to send it to VODcars.com as well. It's a 30MB file QuickTime file. Music on the MAKING of the video is actually better than the official launch video itself IMHO.

 

Yea you are sooooo right about the slowness is downloading. I have Fiber Optics and it says 3.24 KB/sec taking only 2hrs and 21 min!!!

Talk about an exercise in patience!!!

Very little progress was made today by the transporter as a result of mechanical problems. They are still over 1,100 miles away. Looking like a Wednesday delivery (maaaaaaybe Tuesday). Will have to pop out of work to receive. Very disappointed, but c'est la vie.

But looking at the bright side...this means we gotta have a run soon!

Sorry to hear about the delay Vik...theres nothing worse than the anticipation and never ending wait when it comes to getting your new toy.

With that said, the gathering here in Ho Ho Kus is officially postponed until.........well until the sun is once again shining and we have an occasion to celebrate.
