Magnificent! I know how it feels cos I did the same specs to my classic SL before. Just be careful with some jeans or dark coloured clothes as they stain the seats. Enjoy the ride, you must be a proud owner.

I am glad it all worked out for you. I have bought two cars on Ebay myself and both turned out to be GREAT buys. One was a Fiat 850 Spider that looked better than it did when it was new in the showroom back in 73. Very fair price too.

    Sometimes things just go well.

thank you......i wish to have take all the credits but i can't. Ace Auto Fabric did "all the work".

in my humble opinion, the quality of his work is worth shipping your car across the country to let him restore your interior.

Very nice job, the end result speaks for it self. Have lots of fun with your "new Drive". Looks like the weatherproofing strip that runs around the door jams and up over the rear opening of the targa top is new?? If so, did auto fabrics do it, or someome else? I am looking to replace mine soon. If I can get a part number I might do it my self, otherwise will have it sent out.

    Tom,

The car is absolutely beautiful. The new interior is breathtaking.

When you have a chance would you please post some driving impressions of your car? I am considering an 88 or 89 GTS/GTB and am trying to learn as much as I can about the car.

    Thanks and congratulations.

    Mike
