Darin we'll take any help we can get. The most help will come from bringing as many drivers in F-cars as possible.

    Everyone,

MANY thanks to Scott for... everything. He happily dropped whatever he was doing and we diiscussed my cryptic and frantic call as i was running from airport gate to gate... and he was kind enough to take the time AND to help.

Sponsorship means the price will be reduced so a $300 per car is do-able. Consider that a HARD number as i do not want too many cars on the track at one time for safety sake PLUS this means more track time for all involved so SIGN UP TO THIS EVENT EARY TO INSURE YOU HAVE A SPOT!!!

Will also reserve covered paddock area that are equipped with work benches and has air tool hookup :) They charge us extra for added paddocks so... Cost for reserving paddock area should be only $50 per car for two days (HARD NUMBER) and Scott did a great job explaining the facilities at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88440 / Obviously it is better than Lime Rock IMHO and hotel costs are substantially lower too for those travelling :)

NOTE TO THOSE WHO JUST WANT TO SEE THE EVENT:
New Hampshire in October is absolutely gorgeous so the drive to/from the event will be stunning. Even if you do not drive the track, PLEASE feel free to come see the event and enjoy the festivities! We will have many VERY collectable/rare/impressive cars at the event. SHAMELESS PLUG: We will glady take small donatations to help us with future events, but no donation is necessary. i would like to see this event flourish so FNA NE has multiple events per year at NUIS and in the future, perhaps other tracks as they become available to us.

Just called NHIS as it is 5am my time, 8am am NHIS time and left a message. Will try to book Oct 25 and 26, but she is not in the office yet to confirm these dates are reserved for us.

    -------------------
    MANY THANKS TO:
    -------------------
A huge thanks to FoNE, Miller Motorcars, Boston Sportscar, and KTR. Your assistance with sponsorship/tech inspection/etc will be forever appreciated by Yours Truly and i am sure those attending the event will also gladly support those who support us. Forza Ferrari!
    -------------------
    -------------------

Hope to get more sponsors on my end once i get home from CES, the most INSANE week of my year due to it's vast size and my workload. Turn on ANY News channel and CES will be there...

Dennis, so yes i am literally putting my $$$ where my mouth, er, um, post is. i will cover the fee to reserve the dates, and hope to see it come back when all is said and done (break even)... though if FCA NE winds up with a few extra $ may i please insist that it WILL BE strictly reserved to invest into 2007 track days, and yes, i will gladly help with those too.

My apologies for the broken thoughts above, am working at 150% here... Will post more as this develops AND i can find time to slip away and read/reply to this thread. CES here in Vegas has me all over the map (literally).

Many thanks! NHIS INSISTS we use ??? for tow and ??? for ambulance service (i do not have the paperwork in front of me to name names), but if you can supply a vehicle that could aid in assistance it would be VERY MUCH appreciated. It is NHIS who insist on a certain company for tow, and another for ambulance. Of course whatever else we can have on hand is ALWAYS appreciated as it can help with the workload.

Great math and would like to reduce the number of cars and hope to goodness sponsors can help. My thinking is less cars = fewer cars on track at one time, more safety because of less traffic, AND more track time :)

i had dinner last night with a friend of smoeone who has some impressive Ferrari cars in MA (hint, he is VERY GOOD friends with Paul Neuman). Am 99 44/100% sure we can get some very rare/exotic Fcars for the event :) And shhh, i will talk to this guy after CES and maybe see what Paul's schedule is like... Shhh, you did not hear that from me and you did not hear about Paul's house that is a short drive away from where i live ;) Consider thgis like Vegas, what is said here, never happened LOL

i am thinking 50 CARS max so those interested better be ready to sign up fast! If they miss this event or delay, they will have to wait until our 2007 events, but are more than welcome to enjoy the festivities and see/hear the horses prance :)

OCT 25 and 26 are booked! Will talk/e-mail Dennis for how FCA plans to handle enrollment as i hope Dennis can handle that as FCA Empire has forms he could probably use.

Mission control, we have a go. They are sending me the contract.

I am putting together an information package for would be event sponsors. Miller Motorcars, FoNE, KTR and Boston Sportscars will all be recieving the info soon.

I have also emailed Bob Coates in the hopes that he can help persuede Anthony Wang and Todd Morici to make the short trip from NY to NH. We also want Bob to bring his BBLM and Daytona too!

Huge thanks to Nick Scelsi at FoNE for immediately jumping on board with us as well as Huge thanks to Warner Pfister at Miller Motorcars for doing the same.

Huge thanks to BSC and KTR for assisting with Tech inspection. This helps the event run so much smoother and is 1 less thing for Steven and I to worry about.

Miller Motorcars has said that they will bring their challenge driver (with car) Bill Jenkins to the event to help with instruction. Now for the very exciting news. IF (thats a big IF) Miller has a 600 Imola by then, they will bring the car to the event. Warner was going to speak to both Tommy Hilfiger and Peter Sachs for us in the hopes that they will bring some of their cars to the event as well.

I encourage all of you...better yet, I CHALLENEGE all of you to get excited about this event. We want as many F-Cars if not ALL F-cars here as possible. Lets make this the ultimate F-car Event North of Boston. The Historics at LRP in June is a Thursday/ Friday / Saturday event. There is NO reason why we can not have the same turn out here in NH on a wednesday / Thursday event. As Steven said the weather and scenery here in the granite state that time of year is INCREDIBLE. Lets make this something to keep them talking about during the winter so that we all want to do this year after year.

Agreed and MORE! i am hoping someone who IS reading this thread but shall remain nameless can have a 333SP show up. i will work to get other historic cars as well. If not on the track, for sure on display. So even if you choose not to track your car, the event will be HUGE in diversity and excitement.

As for the weather for those tracking your car, New Hampshire's October cool, dense, and clean air into your engine makes for some nice 'added' HP/TQ :) And if we go with a track configuration that includes part of the NASCAR banked turn, this could be a nice chance to see those horses really come out to play :)

I agree using the south oval will eliminate any worry or potential mis-hap of the turn 2 pavement transition.

Does Anyone here know William Binnie? He lives in Portsmouth and the last I heard has a 312 PB. It would great if we could get him to come out and instruct with us as well as bring out the 312.

NOTE TO PHOTOGRAPHERS: Due to the high amount of PMs here i feel this should be posted here.

Thanks for your interest in offering to photo the event. i also understand some people have been desiring to offer for sale photos from the event.

Yes the event is open to the public though i have already registered a URL and plan to offer 'official' photos and videos from the event on the Web site. Any professional photographer should PM me as we will need to see their resume/etc.

As for video, i currently have lightweight video gear specifically made for active events. Also have many different lipstick camera mounting options. The audio portion will not just be an afterthought as found in most videos. My Earthworks MX30 high-precision, extremely closely matched laboratory grade(!) measurement microphones will be of service so that the audio will be 'audiophile' quality. These microphones, besides being considered some of the very best in the world for their capabilities, are better than Earthworks' stock units as they were specifically hand selected by the owner for my audiophile needs after they were built/measured/tested.

Again, thanks for your interest in photographing the event, and considering an event of this magnitude, we want to insure the quality of this event both before, during, and afterwards.

I mentioned it to a friend of mine who works for a very large Wealth Mgmnt. company. They would be interested in sponsoring lunch for us in the garage area ( big suprise ).

No, he asked I not use the name until he goes to the PR dept at the big huge headquarters in Princton NJ and makes sure it's OK to use the name. Otherwise he will sponsor it independantly.

Also I'd be happy to volunteer as a corner worker.
