I'm ready to shed some weight, gain some performance and perhaps a better sound quality--not necessarily louder--for my 89 328GTB exhaust system. I'm aware of the six most popular systems available (CAPISTRO, CSC, ANSA, MILLE MIGLIA, TUBI, STEBRO), but know next to nothing about quality, sound, availability, durability or ease of installation. I try to do as much of my own work as posssible, so these considerations are important to me. Price is also a real puzzler since I've seen very few printed quotes. Most vendors just claim to be "competitive," but don't list either availability or an exact price. So, please chime in with your views, recommendations and experience in aftermarket exhausts for your 328's.
Thanks for the feedback, and Happy New Year everybody!

I went with a dual inlet to single-out Flowmaster on my '77 308 and had a very experienced exhaust guy build it, making all the individual 'bend' pieces to perfection with excellent welds. The total cost was about $1K and it looks and sounds great!

    Ricardo,

I took off my TUBI (too loud gave me a headache after 45 minutes of driving) and replaced it with a QUICKSILVER from Evans Auto in Columbus, OH. The QUICKSILVER is more pleasant too listen too when going for long drives and does not resonate like the TUBI I had on my car. My car is an 89 328 GTS.

    Cheers,
    Rhett
