I think you will find the mondial is a 3.2 qv rather than a t. so sounds a bit pricey.

this just goes to show that average to scruffy 308 gtb/s arent selling for any where near £20k anymore unless their in very good condition, the show quality cars will gradually go up in value as the amount of good ones continues to decline

I was asked to do a PPI on one last week, the owner wanted £20k, it needed paint, new carpets, reconolising and a whole load of bodyfiller diging out and replacing with non rusty metal..........lots of nasty ones out there which from the outside look nice and shiny

Too true. If the best you are going to get for a very good 308 is 25k, cars in poor condition have got to be 15k. You could end up spending 10k and still end up with a car that is not as good as the 25k car.

Sadly, these cheaper cars will fall into the hands of people who cannot afford to look after them properly. This will accelerate the divide between the good & bad cars.

Short term I can see cruffy 308's being 10k within 2 years with scruffy QV Mondy's at 6-8K
with Ferrari selling more cars than ever the relative scarcity of used cars that kept used prices high in the 80's and 90's (when there were only a few years of production to draw on) the only way can be down....

have a look what's happened to Porsche residuals with so many cheap 964's 993's and 996's have a look what a late 70's 911 is going for!! then think how this model will apply to Ferrari.......

Andrew - that's enough!!! Mondays are bad enough without you predicting that car values are going down the pan.

Sorry Andy forgot to add......values for decent 308's will continue to rise and should end up following those of the 246 dino
