Ran the Disney marathon yesterday in Orlando.... Of course, I take full credit, as living with me for 25 years taught her about dealing with pain and long term suffering. In her honor I will wait til noon for my first beer today.
That is awesome for your wife. Sometimes I feel that it is a chore just to DRIVE 26 miles much less run it. As for her time whatever it is would be better than me...they would have to time me with a calandar
That must have been exhausting, but well worth the sacrifice in the uh, long run to wait for that beer.
Congrats to your wife! Is your wife having any trouble going up and down stairs? Stairs were my worst enemy after running the '05 Vancouver marathon.
congrats to her. lost many of my toe nails and had severe "nipple" blisters after my first marathon in 01 (la salle bank in chicago).....(and about 4lbs)
Not home yet, but apparently almost could not fold up to get in the car. 3 blisters and 1 blood blister on whole little toe by advanced report. I'll have to check...her closely... this evening.
Arthritis, I believe. A couple of my cousins were supposed to be running it, but I dont see 'em on the results.
So Uro, I guess this means she has to start using the "I have a headache" excuse instead of "I'm too tired" excuse late at night
My wife ran philadelphia in November. This is no small painless undertaking!!!!!Three hours 40min......
