Often I forget, and take for granted some of the advantages of being single. although sometimes the grass seems greener on the other side of the fence. JD
there aint no green grass when married. lets post pone the drive and do the Giovanni show anyway. My car is still running rough and I hope to be back on the road sometime next week. I will nurse it over to Giovanni's. everyone okay with that ?
you guys have fun. my car isnt running right. see you at Giovanni's at 3 maybe you could al meet at Giovanni's early and go on a drive then be back at 3 ? Brian
good to see y'all agian... albeit for a short time (and from inside of my warm car). It was fricking COLD???? Now I remember why I moved away from Chicago. Can't believe I actually watch "Da Bears" from Soldiers field back in the Sayers to Payton days. JD
Yeah, I guess it must have felt like a Lake Michigan wind! (Or maybe it was a bora, ghibli, khamsin or mistral? I know Maserati named all those cars for winds. Or maybe it was called Maria.....) At least a few of us were crazy enough to show up; interesting that it was mostly a Ferrari show. Kudos to Alan for bringing his luscious new F430.
twas cold indeed.. who the heck thought it would have been that cold when most of last week it was near 70 degrees. Loced that Prunia colored 330 + 2 or whatever that was. good to see all of the Ferrari guys that came out and Rick. .. next months event will be on the 18th. just count on every 3rd saturday of each month will be the Giovanni show. great place to meet too. nice to have soo many cool car guys in the area.
Hey, February 18th is Enzo Ferrari's birthday! Maybe we can make this one special. Maybe we can have a cake ("Happy Birthday, Enzo") and eat it!
Could not get there....... was finishing moving/wrestling a 400lb+ compressor into the basement in the afternoon. (something about "get it out of the garage so I can get my car in there" came into play because the deliver folks "brought the wrong truck" on Friday). BobR
