It's ok, no hijack - this is Ferrari related noise. Does anyone know how to dump items from your attachment folder - I am at the limit so cannot post the noise!!! Happy to clear the whole folder out.

    What a beautiful day today!!!

My collegue jumps in my office to tell me there's a red Ferrari coming from the nearby exit. This is how it always goes when Ferraris are spotted around the working place so pencil down and ready to take a look.
The Ferrari is driving slow enough to have a good glimpse at it and more surprisingly it drives on to our fuel station. Very good! A clean car, black finishing on the tires, chrome license plate holder, hmmm this could very good be the man who just got his 328 from Gipimo....

Great to have meet you Frank, it's a very nice example, enjoy her a lot and give her the best treatment possible!

Please share some photos with us, I know we all like it here!

    Hi All,

thanks for the compliments ! And Ton, thanks for helping with the pictures.

The car is now with Protech for 'treatment'; should have it back next weekend. Drove it to Ghent and still kept it an easy drive until I get used to it :))

Already hit the boardwalk twice with underside while driving into the Protech garage :-((

Anyway, next step is looking out for toolkits and targa cover for behind the seats... and then slowly but surely cleaning up the interior.

Hopefully soon I can join up on a local meeting !

Will get back with more impressions later

    Cheers,
    Frank

    Beautiful car! :D

Looks like those pics are shot on the parking in Zemst on the E19? :)

Good luck in the search for the toolkit and targa cover, Frank.

    Ton,

I'd also like a leather hardtop-cover for my 348. Couldn't find it on this site (not for a 328 aswell). Is that what is meant by a targa-cover?

    Hi Eugenio,

I am already bidding for the tool kit (frankr 3579); for targa cover; I can get new one at 250 Euro, which is cheaper than starting bid (+ shipping)

    Thanks for the info !

    Frank

Nice colour, upholstery and wheels Frank!! :D They look vaguely similar to mine ;)

Don't you just HATE the scraping sound when you "bottom-out" when going over a bump? For me that must rate as one of the worst sounds in the world. It's far worse that any fingernails-scraping-on-blackboard or even ABBA! Just terrible...that sound always elicits anger and then leaves me depressed!

But when the road is flat....YEEEE-HAAAA!!! :D

    Enjoy, MARK

Hey Eugenio, I used to live in Alabang too! I grew up in the Philippines and now live in San Francisco.

    I currently have a 99 360 Modena.

My uncle is the dealer for Ferrari there. I don't think they stock cars in the showroom since the market there is pretty tough. They just bring in cars by order.

A buddy of mine just shipped his black Murci over there last month. I'm sure you might see it at night when the traffic is light.

Yhea, at night the traffic is lighter, the big problem is that then you cannot see the craters that affect the roads. Only the north Luzon Highway is OK, but you have to cross Manila to reach it.
I just count the days to when I will be back in Italy to drive my little one...
By the way living here is good. sun shining and a completely different culture, even in driving! ;)
    Ciao
    Eugenio
