    Ahoy, Marylanders!

Some years ago my wife and I stayed at the Ashby 1663 Inn in Easton. The place was great and we had a wonderful time. We are planning to visit the area again this Spring. Anyone have any recent info/rumor/gossip about the Ashby? Other recommendations, and suggestions for restaurants, are welcome, too.

Oh, and since we will be descending upon you from central NJ, I'd be happy to learn of any back roads or other alternatives to the dreaded I-95.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ron
