    curious ,what year is the car and what update are you exactly getting.was 03 the last year of ecu updates . thanks .

    I was told the newer ECU allows adjustment to the PIS point of initial slip, which fine tunes the shifting... However its not an essential upgrade, car will be ok with old ecu.
