Hey guys, I sorta did a search, but this is pretty new so I don't think anyone has seen it before. Check it out http://www.mavromatic.com/archives/000503
why not just make a repost sub-forum of OT where a repost can be immediately drowned into? eventually we'll have a nice collection of threads for people to perpetually marvel at...
Some people are mean about it, but some are just. Hey its a repost.. Anyone ever seen the video of the hot blonde driving the 360 spider through the mountains?
Last night my son took down some large paper pictures in his room, and replaced them with other large paper pictures. I told him he was a reposter.
I actually get offended that someone gets offended when a reposter gets offended by pointing out that it's a repost. If you get what i mean....
It's the newbies.......kill 'em all...let God sort 'em out! Where's the kitten pic, that's punishment enough I'd say.......
That's actually a pretty good idea. We can take the picture of the kitten, and put it in a sack with a brick, and throw it in there, too!! *glug, glug.......meow!*
We need a statute that decides how long a thread has to breathe before no longer being "re-post eligible". Say, a month. Two months. 100 new bikini thread posts. Something like that.
I hate seeing a newer member with a lower post count get slammed for 'reposts'. If that same member does it twice or three times, then you can grill them. The board and it's longer term member takes some time to get use to. Let's be nice to the newbie that commits this act!
What I'd like to see is some motorcycle racer hanging off the side of a Ferrari F1 in a corner. But seriously folks.... All that slamming a reposter does is to keep them from posting other times with new material. Its all been said before except Brand new model discussion.
For me it's only a mild irritant...... It only really annoys me when it's a thread about a subject that somebody has already started and is in plain sight. I know that not everybody is on the board as much as I am so otherwise it's not really a big deal. It would be nice if people used the search function more often, sometimes there is an old thread with lots of good info....... it's kind of a hassle for me to search and merge.
