Ferrari Folder Windows Icon - NEW!

    If you use a shortcut on your Windows desktop to get to your favorite Ferrari stuff, you can download this custom icon I just made. Just download it and extract it from the zipfile and save it somewhere on your hard drive. Although I show it here on a white background, whatever background or wallpaper you normally use will show around it properly.

    If you don't already know how to change the icon that's displayed on your shortcut, here's how you do it in Windows XP/2000:
    right-click on the current icon
    click "Properties"
    click "Change Icon"
    browse to wherever you just saved the fer_folder.ico file you got from this FChat thread
    click "ok", then click "apply", then click "ok" again and you're done!

    I thought .ico's could only be 32by32. This one is too big?

    I guess I'm doing something wrong here... When I try to save it, it's a PNG file.
    If I open it and save again as ICO... then it has a white background...

    I didn't realize it didn't actually upload the .ico file (FChat doesn't accept those). It's now attached as a ZIP file (the FerFolder.ico file is inside it).

    Had an idea...somewhere on my computer I have the Ferrari font style...How would I change the font on the icon (If it is possible).

    You can't change the font on an individual icon, though you can change them ALL if you want via Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display/Appearance/Advanced and then find "Icon" on the pull down menu and change the font. I have "old eyes" so I change the font to Tahoma Bold for icons, menus, etc on my Windows machines.

    New and improved: This is a multi-size icon set in one .ico file that it will automatically properly display depending on what size you need (desktop, icon view, list view, etc). Replace the previous one with the one inside this zipfile. Enjoy!
