I am taking my borranis off one at a time to clean them and grease the spline. I was disappointed to find a serious crack in one of the spokes right where it attaches to the hub. Is this critical, "don't drive the car until it is fixed"?
Is there a simple way to get it fixed while the tire is still mounted, or do I have to take the tire off and ship the wheel to a specialist? Any ideas who can fix it for me? I really do not want to have just one wheel totally reconditioned, and I am not ready to pay to have all of the wheels redone.
The crack is deep, in fact the connection may just be by a thread. Thanks in advance for some advise.

I have several left over spokes from doing my wheels. Depending on which wheels you have and the length of spoke I might have one for you. I don't think it would be the best idea to try and replace the spoke with the tire in place. I would at least dismount the tire and make sure the tube protection band does not get damaged. From my experience if it is the short or medium spoke you should be able to do it with little problem. If is the long spoke you may have to bend it a little to get it in place and than tension it to straighten it out again. You can take a wrench and tap on the other spokes to see if you have anymore loose or cracked spokes. The spokes of the same length should sound about the same, a buzzing spoke is loose and a flat sounding spoke is either way to tight or damaged. I don't know the torque setting on Borranis off the top of my head but I know my motorcyle wheels have a spec and it usually pretty close.

Thanks for the information. It sounds like something I can do myself, if I take the tire off. The broken spoke looks to be about 14CM (its hard to measure while on the wheel). It fits on my 365 GTC/4. The boranni is an RW4075.
I do not want to take one of yours, you may need it later. Do you know where I can buy a spoke?

4075 is the same wheel I ,pm me your address and I will send you one of each no problem. I have a dozen or so of each and if I break that many I am in trouble. Sounds like that is the shorter spoke and should not to bad to change just make a note of how it is routed and which spoke it crosses over and under so there in no confusion when you install the new one.
