More:What model is the green car that leads off this reply (#83)?
Let's see, the cars leading off posts #83 and #87 are, uh, Ferraris :}. I am too tired to remember. Possibly some of the FChatters that are more knowledgeable about the vintage cars will respond? All I can say is that they passed the strict authenticity test of the Cavallino organizers. As for the Schumacher car, the steering wheel is too expensive to remain on an unattended car. Until the rain started, there was no one representing the car within 100 feet, so, smart move to remove the wheel. Although I might have used one of the fakes. But I was assured by the Ferrari of NA rep that it is a real F2002. And it did have an engine/transaxle. Also it was autographed by both MS and RB.
I Think 83 is a 250 Pininfarina coupe and 87 is the car built for ingrid Bergman that inspired the 612, too bad the 612 doesnt look that good
The green car in #83 is 250 GT Cabriolet Speciale s/n 1737GT. The silver car in #87 is 375 MM s/n 0402AM, which was rebodied by Scaglietti. It is not the Pininfarina-built 375 MM (0456AM) that is often referred to as the "Ingrid Bergman car" and influenced the design of the 612 Scaglietti, although both cars (0402AM and 0456AM) were originally owned by Roberto Rossellini, then husband of Ingrid Bergman.
very interresting thread nice shoot thanks Tifosiron for sharing them impressionating by F430 challenge in three colors also the Maserati 450 good pics. if you have more pics do no hesitate... you are lucky William with Pierro Lardi Ferrari.
I think it is an F2002. The F1-2000 was still high-nosed. The F2001 still had Tic-Tac and TIM sponsership and if I recall correctly the regulations for extended engine covers and rear-wing end plates were introduced in for 2004. So it may also be an F2003-GA. I don't have pictures infront of me atm, so I may be wrong though.
Nice pic! Piero seems happy to be in your presence....... And thanks, people, for the car idents. I knew it would happen here!
Here is a pic of my 250 PF getting judged. It won Third in Class which put the icing on a great trip. If anybody tooks some pics that show my car during the show I would love to see them [email protected]. Thanks! Greg Image Unavailable, Please Login
The red 250 TdF that rolled was S/N 0787... The FXX that was at the track on Friday was Stroll's, S/N 145368... The FXX that was at The Breakers on Saturday and at the Palm Beach International this afternoon belongs to Michael Fux, S/N 145369 (I even managed to get the Assembly Number on this car - I feel so special)... Along with his FXX, Mr. Fux displayed several other cars this afternoon, including an Enzo, an F430, an F430 Spider and a 612 Scaglietti... This year, there were so many cars, it was mind-numbing... The all-yellow F430 Spider F1 looked amazing...! The black Maserati was, of course, incredible... Stroll's FXX going around the track was intense - the tri-color F430 Challenge car of his was also pretty cool - whoever was driving it out there with the other cars was taking it easy... It was so awesome to see some old friends and make a lot of new ones... I would say Cavallino is like a little slice of heaven, but that would only be a huge understatement... I'm going back to Atlanta tomorrow; will post more later in the week... It was a real pleasure to see all of you who were here.
He was extremely luck. It was the 125 Feta car. He hit the tire wall, flipped in the air, hit the trees and landed nose down against a tree. Horrific accident but luckily he walked away. The sound of the impact would have you convined that someone died. He is very lucky indeed.
I wouldn't know Lawrence Stroll or Nick Longhi if they walked up to me and gave me a swift kick right in the ass - I've never met either of them, nor have I ever seen a picture of them... Someone more knowledgeable should know though...
Nick's a terrific "shoe" and often drives (and races) Stroll's cars. He has pro history and is an instructor for Skip Barber and you would know it if he was driving because of a high level of "commitment" in throttle application, borne of great confidence! -Peter
Carbon. This is Lawrance Stroll, hes in the Silver racing suit: http://www.exoticcarsite.com/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album46&id=HPIM8397 He owns Ferrari of Quebec, Mont Tremblant Race Circuit and im sure you know owns a rosso corsa Enzo.. and has a massive Ferrari Collection.
