    My thoughts exactly.....although both cars share a lot of parts, I'd guess the answer is 'yes'....

    I suppose I'm confused -- my 328 came stock with a standard cigarette lighter/power socket. Did 308s and Mondial come with something else?

    Some came with an old version where you place the cigarette in the hole/element and it heats the cigarette. i believe VIP Automotive (or PEP Boys) has them.

    Funny story - when I flew out to Dallas to pick up my new-to-me 308 for the drive back to Charleston, a friend gave me a loaner Valentine 1 detector with the cigarette power adapter. Damned Italian cigarette lighter well is too SHALLOW for the longer, US-spec Cig-Lighter power adapters, and the V1 plug wouldn't fit and thus no power. Two days of driving at the steady pace of 65 MPH....I ended up getting pulled over anyway, for a two-years-out-of-date temporary tag. DOH!
