I joined this group called *********** and from the get to got a horrible welcome (especially from Allen-Lambo). The attitude of a lot of people there was that Ferrari's are pieces of **** and the scumbag of the car world. I was insulted and mande fun of for driving a Porsche and not falling into line. Then when I defended myself I got even more *****ing because Allen-Lambo and Lamborghini are gods I have no right to an opinion deviating from the group. Didn't Allen get kicked from here. It was a horrible experience and just reaffirmed my love of the Prancing Horse.

    ps

I know not all Lambo owners are *******s, but I happen to have run into a few unfortunately.

    Forza Ferrari!

I wanted to give this group and Lambo a chance, but you will never get me to say F cars and P cars are crappy. I can't be apart of that or share that attittude.

Why don't you post a link to the thread. I would be interested in seeing how they treated you as well as how you treated them.

I think the pre-requisite for being here is just being a car enthusiast. Ferrari is what probably brings people here, but the passion for cars is what keeps us here. JMHO

See? We don't like Allen so much that you can't even link to his website on this forum.

Did he do anything else to you that was unfair?

Well he changed my location that everyone sees to "my daddys wallet' instead of south florida. My handle now says "Troll and closet cans fan" where it said Go Gators! He has called my gay, called my Porsche a piece of crap and generally been an *******. I am getting heat now because I posted that I thought Allen was a piece of white trash with no manners or class due to his rude behavior. It is getting really ugly, but I back down to no one. His money can't buy him the class he lacks.

Actually, Allen's back with a different nic on F-Chat - known since day one of his return.

Current methodology is an admixture of:
    The usual lack of charm
    Child Psychology
    Reverse Psychology

I'm in almost the same boat--getting way too much negative energy on general automotive forum.

It's as if members or mods with a history of thousands of posts simply have nothing to do but slam general posts by noobs to that board. I might have fun stirring things up, however. Leave it to me...

    At best.

I experienced the same infantile treatment; changing of profile info, etc. Very negative site; overwhelming lack of class and overwhelming abundance of BS. They also seem fixated with the words 'gay' and '***'...hmmm.....go figure.

I'd say just let it go and don't let things like this get to you. I'll be on the look out for a black Boxster around campus. Go Gators!

Apparently you have to register just to read posts on Laimbo.com, and I shall not waste my time.

More than all the personal insults or bs, the thing that amazed me the most was the contempt for Ferrari. Now I know it's a Lambo group so the people there are going to like Lambo's the most. I can see that. I can even see saying: "well Ferrari just isn't my style." But to look at them as pure trash is insane. They also have it set up so if you type in the word "Corvette" or "Z06" it will show up POS when you submit it. That is uncalled for.

True, that. Especially on the intarweb. TBH, Allan's not a bad guy in person. At least he wasn't the time I had dinner with him.
