Not to be picky, BUT, I think proof-reading would be a good exercise for this person. When they accomplished that feat they might correct: I not i, don't not dont and coming not comeing. I would be hesitant about the car and it's "personal care" just because of the syntax problems with the advertisement.

Well, a really rude Ferrari ad would be: "Selling my Ferrari. Viagra worked, don't need the car". ;)

Being clear about what your terms are is good business. But so is proofreading the ad.

But being realistic cuts both ways. You can say "price firm - will not take less", if you're asking a reasonable price. If you're fishing with a high price, you've got to expect lowball offers.

I bet this is not his first ad for the car. He probably had at least one or two other ads that only provided him with zainy callers and offers (b/c of 40k miles on the car) and he is now past his point of being reasonable.

Even if you choose to ignore the gross grammatical errors - who would be so stupid as to purchase a vehicle from someone who mentions that they took good care of the clean title, but don't mention care of the car????

An attitude of a person also determines the way he treated or driven the car. Being polite is always proper.

Am I the only one that thinks $97k is a bit much for a 360 with 40k miles?

I have a friend that bought a US spec 99 with 10k miles for $109k a while back, so 30k additional miles is only worth $12k less?

Did anyone ever see the ad in the Detroit Free Press classifieds for the Ford GT a few months ago? I can't remember the wording exactly, but basically it stated: "$2 million income to qualify." I felt like calling that ****** and asking him what his problem was, but never did.

...Clearly, opinions on this matter are split between those who've placed ads for sale, and those who've responded to ads for sale.

"Arrogant" is probably a better description. It doesn't make me want to buy his car, and it's not a real favor to the image of Ferrari owners' community, assuming non-Ferrari owners see this and confirm their suspicions about those "pompous a--holes who buy Ferraris."
