How tolerant are you to people that flake on you?

Must be a story here somewhere .

In any case, flakes can be ignored if you're the boss or the customer; but too many flakes have to be "managed" if you're in a large corporation where policies help protect them.

Have the flake meet you at your house or somewhere you would be anyways so you dont waste any time

OR

when you set up the encounter ask them how likely they are to flake from 0 to 10, if they say anything over 0 tell them to just forget about the meeting. chances are they will get in line

I had a sales person recently not show for an appointment that I stayed home for. I called them and rescheduled. When they showed up for the second appontment I (as planed )was not there. When they called from in front my house I tld them I was at work and asked how it felt to have their time wasted without so much as a phone call to say something came up

 

I have a ZERO tolerance policy for flakes.

I used to sell life insurance so I have experienced flakiness to the nth degree. I really couldn't do anything about it in terms of exacting vengence or payback, though. I was always hopeful that they would turn around and be a client.

 

So now they're standing in front of your house, they know no ones home, and you just pissed them off!!! Sounds good to me.
