Which beach for honeymoon??

Went to St. John for my honeymoon , and yes it is quiet , but the beaches are absolutely spectacular. Stayed at Caneel Bay resort . Very nice .

 

Yes it is very nice and Caneel Bay is a great place to Honeymoon. Sounds like you had a perfect HM.

I've been to St. Johns 8 times. I should be back next week, but I don't think it's going to happen.

 

Go to Roatan, which is the largest of the 3 islands that make up the Bay Islands, right off of the coast of Honduras. Most beautiful beaches ever, and it's got the second largest coral reef in the world, in case you're into scuba diving.

 

Add my vote to Caneel Bay in St John. Been 3 times, loved it every time. The nightlife there is a problem though, there isn't any.

I've also been to Little Dix on Virgin Gorda. Same issue, great place, no nightlife. The Cuisinart place on Anguilla, more of the same. If you want nightlife you're going to have to go to a 'bigger' island like St Maartin or St Thomas. There's a great resort on the West side of St. Maartin that I can't remember the name of, but it's great. Plenty to do in the evening on that island.

St Barths has everything but the casino and and a short water taxi ride to Dutch St. Martin will whet that craving...

 

The Caymans are great. Grand Cayman has seven mile beach..white sand!

 

No, which is why I added "the nightlife is a problem..., there isn't any...". I've seen plenty of boobs on all those beaches and they're very much the equal of a Ritz Carlton.

 

How about a FAKE Beach!? Miyazaki Ocean dome? I was checking this out the other day and it sounds like quite an experience.
