I read and highly recommend Enzo's autobiography. It may be hard to find though I don't know. The copy I read was from the local library published in 1964.

While the Mailander book is a pretty good book to start a collection; this "Emotion Ferrari" book could be a very good book to follow that.

Or how a look at some of the other books & magazines on display (not for sale!) on my website.

    Ciao,

If you want a good all-over look at Ferrari then Ferrari Catalogue Raisonne is very good. Not cheap but there are 3 volumes and it covers all aspects of Ferrari - road, race and F1. Not a reading book, but more a good reference work.
I have more than 400 Ferrari books in my library, so if you want an opinion on any particular title just ask (or email) - Regards

I would highly recommed this one, which is out of print, but can sometimes be found on e-bay for as little as $25..

I have been collecting car books for over 30 years and have two favorites, maybe because they both were very early purchases,

!Ferrari- The gran tourismo and competition berlinettas. This is just a great reference to a lot of why ferrari has the GT legend it does-GTO-LM-Etc. Some of the best photos ever.

2 Ferrari- The man the machines-- One of the best articles on the Dino. Really explains the Ferrari mystique and why we love them. Also the best GTO picture.

I still believe one of the great all-time books about cars and racing is The Speed Merchants. A great read.
I would also like to add that over the 30+ years that I have been a FerrariFanatic the great British auto mags have done infinately better job of relating tomy almost unexplainable passion for the Marque than the American mags. Especially the older CAR mags.
