So, what is going on here. First we see that FXX in Sweden with swedish plates, and now I found this pic on exotixboard of a FXX with florida plates. Are people registering them for street use !? If so, all I have to say is WOW, must be a sight to see one on the road !

The FXX looks so amazing in that setting! It is just waiting for its owner to come out and give it a beating!!!

By the way, temp dealer plates allow any car (street legal or not) to be driven around

Are you sure? ...Not being street legal implies that a car does not have alot of [safety / emission etc etc ] features that comply with law.....so having temp dealer plates allows you to bypass this? ...interesting!

If true..one lucky sod driving an FXX on the street!!!

I don't think the dealer tags work in every case. I.e. On an Audi R8 or F1 car.

I remember when Lazy Daze was one small factory in Pomona California and a tiny warehouse for a showroom... When I was young my family ended up with one of those rather than a 308 GTB...

Even without taillights? The FXX exhaust replaces the taillights on the Enzo correct?

I was at the Detroit Auto Show last week and they said the FXX that was on display during the Media and Industry days was pulled before the pubic show because the owner in Florida didn't want it there for the public show. Safe to assume that's one and the same?

This FXX was owned by Lawrance Stroll. He lived in Quebec Canada. The car went down to Florida for Cavllino Classic and then was shipped stragith back to Quebec with the rest of his cars.

Nice to see a FXX in Amerika! But the plate? Is only for circuit racing.

Obviously dealer plates wouldnt work on an F1 car or anything crazy, but they should work on a car like an FXX, Zonda, Koenigsegg. Keep in mind they will not work forever, just on a temporary basis.

Dealer plates are 100% illegal in this case. Only plates that would work would be manufacturer. Aside from just a ticket I believe the DOT could impound/sieze the car for improper use. No matter how much money he has...............

Not for nothing but what cop in FL even knows the car isn't street legal. And how would DOT ever catch wind...maybe you couldn't whip the thing around everyday indefinetly but I'm sure you could safely get away with a few miles around town...

    how do poeple assume that?
of the probably 100,000 cops (pure estimate) in FL, you don't think any of them know about a Ferrari FXX??
Cops are people with the same public knowledge as you an me. Its not safe to assume that a cop doesnt know whats street legal or not.
